Terms of Service

Last updated: · Effective:

These Terms are the agreement between you and GlobalTech Game about your use of the PointHive app and this website. They cover who may use PointHive; how points, offers and rewards work; how a withdrawal is requested, reviewed and paid through PayPal; what we expect of you; and the limits of our responsibility. Points are a reward, not money. The companion document is our Privacy Policy.

1. Your agreement with us

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and GLOBALTECH GAMING GROUP PTE. LTD, 112 ROBINSON ROAD, #03-01, ROBINSON 112, SINGAPORE 068902 ("we", "us", "GlobalTech Game") about your use of the PointHive app for iPhone and the website at www.globaltechgame.com (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is free. It has no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, and nothing in it is sold for money.

2. Who may use PointHive

  • You must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United States.
  • You must use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, on a device you control.
  • One person, one account. Multiple accounts for the same person are a breach of these Terms.
  • You must be able to enter into a binding agreement with us, and you must not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle the deletion of a minor's account and data.

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a one-time code we email to you. There is no PointHive password. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in account secure, and for everything that happens through your PointHive account.

Give us accurate information, and keep it up to date — the country and state you enter must be where you actually are. Tell us promptly at [email protected], or through an in-app support ticket, if you believe someone else has access to your account.

You may not sell, rent, transfer or share your account, and you may not let anyone else complete offers as you.

4. Points, offers and rewards

  • Points are a reward, not money. Points are a record of the rewards you have earned inside PointHive. They are not a bank balance, they carry no interest, they have no cash value until you request a withdrawal, and they cannot be transferred to anyone else, sold or exchanged outside PointHive.
  • What points are worth. 1,000 points = US $1.00. The minimum withdrawal is 5,000 points (US $5.00).
  • How you earn. You earn points by taking part in offers and activities made available through our offer providers, and by taking part in our own programs such as the daily check-in. Offers are supplied by third parties.
  • Confirmation comes from the provider's servers. A reward is credited only after the offer provider confirms the completion to us on the server. Some offers stay pending until that confirmation arrives, which can take minutes or several weeks.
  • Rewards may be reversed. If the advertiser or the offer provider rejects, reverses or invalidates a completion — for example because the offer was not completed as described, because it was completed by automation, or because the same completion was attributed to another account — the reward is reversed and the points are removed from your balance. We do not keep a reward the advertiser has refused to pay for.
  • Your balance has states. Points are shown as pending until the provider confirms them, as available once confirmed, and may be held while we review a completion or investigate a possible breach of these Terms. Only available points can be withdrawn.
  • Availability is not guaranteed. Offers come from third parties. How many there are, what they pay and how long they last change without notice, and an offer may be withdrawn at any time.
  • Third-party terms also apply. When you open an offer you go to the offer provider's page. That page is operated by the provider, under the provider's own terms of service and privacy policy, and we do not control it.

Completing an offer is optional. You can browse, see your balance and history, manage your account and contact support without completing anything. No feature, screen or balance is locked behind completing an offer.

5. Withdrawals and payouts

How a withdrawal works, at a glance.
ItemWhat these Terms say
Minimum withdrawal5,000 points (US $5.00)
Points to dollars1,000 points = US $1.00
How you are paidThrough PayPal, to the PayPal account on file in your payout profile
Who reviews itA person. Every withdrawal is reviewed and paid manually; we do not pay out automatically
How long it takesA withdrawal is reviewed and normally completes within 3 to 5 business days of the request
If a payout failsThe full amount is returned in full to your available balance, and we notify you
Our feeNone. Any fee PayPal charges is yours
  • Minimum and rate. You may request a withdrawal once your available balance reaches 5,000 points, which is US $5.00 at the rate of 1,000 points = US $1.00.
  • PayPal, to the account on file. Payouts are made through PayPal to the account you provide. You must own that account, and your payout profile must be complete and accurate before money is sent. We are not responsible for a payout sent to a PayPal account you entered incorrectly.
  • A person reviews every withdrawal. Every withdrawal is reviewed by a human and paid manually. A withdrawal is reviewed and normally completes within 3 to 5 business days. It can take longer when we need to verify your identity or your PayPal account, when tax information we have asked for is outstanding, or when we are reviewing a possible breach of these Terms — and a request made on a weekend or public holiday starts on the next business day.
  • If a payout fails. A payout can fail — for example because the PayPal account was wrong, closed, or could not receive the payment. If a payout fails, the full amount is returned to your available balance. It is returned in full — we deduct no fee — and we notify you that the payout did not complete, in the app and in your withdrawal history, so you can correct your payout profile and request it again.
  • One at a time. Only one withdrawal may be in progress at a time, and we may limit how frequently you can request one.
  • We may decline or reverse a withdrawal. We may decline or reverse a withdrawal, and adjust your balance, if we find that the points behind it were earned in breach of these Terms or were otherwise credited in error.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • create or use more than one account, or open a new account to replace one we have restricted or closed;
  • use automation — bots, scripts, emulators, modified or repackaged apps, device farms, or any means other than genuine human participation — to earn points;
  • commit fraud: give false information, use someone else's identity, forge a completion, or claim rewards you are not entitled to;
  • interfere with, probe, or attempt to bypass our security, our fraud checks or our rate limits;
  • misrepresent where you are, or use a VPN or proxy to appear to be in a place where you are not;
  • use the Service in breach of any law, or in breach of the terms of Apple, Google, PayPal or an offer provider.

What happens if you break this section. Rewards obtained in breach of this section are void, and we may reverse them and remove the points from your balance. We may also restrict or close your account, and you may lose the points in it. We may report fraud to the offer providers and, where the law requires it, to the authorities.

7. Taxes

You are responsible for any tax that applies to the rewards you receive. Where the law requires it, we may ask you for tax information and report the payments you receive to the tax authorities.

Where the total we pay you in a calendar year reaches the applicable reporting threshold — set by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, and currently $600 — we will ask you for a completed Form W-9 and will file Form 1099-NEC with the IRS reporting the amount paid to you.

We may hold or delay a payout while tax information we have asked for is outstanding.

8. Our content and your messages

The Service, its design, its text and its marks are ours or our licensors' and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the PointHive app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer or reuse any part of the Service except as those terms and the law allow.

If you send us support messages, you give us permission to use them to answer you and to improve the Service. Do not send us information you have no right to share, and do not send us payment card numbers, government identification numbers or other sensitive credentials through a support ticket.

9. Ending your account

  • You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Danger zone → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent. We anonymise your personal details and clear your stored sign-in credentials; you will not be able to recover the account.
  • Deleting your account forfeits the points in it. Request a withdrawal of any balance you want to keep before you delete.
  • We keep financial, offer, withdrawal, risk and tax records after deletion, as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or automated, or where the law requires it. Where a suspension is temporary, we will tell you why.
  • We may discontinue the Service. If we do, we will give notice in the app so that you can request a withdrawal of any balance that meets the minimum.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that offers will be available, that an offer provider will confirm a completion, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free.

We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of an offer provider, or of any third-party page you reach from the Service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount of the rewards you were entitled to in the three months before the claim arose, or US $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Service, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Before starting any legal action, you and we agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by writing to [email protected]. If that does not resolve it within 30 days, either party may require the dispute to be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration takes place in the state named above or, at your choice, by telephone or video conference. Each party bears its own costs, and we will pay the AAA filing fee for a consumer claim within those rules. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to bring or participate in a class, collective or representative action. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of accepting these Terms.

14. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the PointHive app or its content, and Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, any reward offered through PointHive. If any part of these Terms is inconsistent with Apple's applicable terms for apps distributed through the App Store, those terms apply to the extent of the inconsistency.

15. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the unenforceable provision is replaced by one that comes closest to its purpose. If we do not enforce a provision on one occasion, that is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours, including in a merger or a sale of assets, and we will tell you if we do.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects you, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
